Today we team up with Link to defeat the final boss, Null! I had a blast playing this game and hope to stream more Zelda games in the future.

I really liked the boss fights and the mechanics. Using summons is a strange concept to me but I really enjoyed their take on it. The only thing I disliked about this game was the explicit open-endedness of some of the puzzles because I wasn't completely sure how I was "supposed" to solve them. Otherwise, the controls, soundtrack, story, and visuals were all amazing.

My favorite echoes are:

  • Peahat. The real MVP. Coming in clutch from day one.
  • Zirro. A silent powerhouse, really pulling through in the late game areas.
  • Spear Moblin. Works 50% of the time but really pulls their weight when they work.
  • Sand crabs. They're super easy to spam and overwhelm a boss or enemy.
  • Chompfin. The water equivalent of Peahat.
  • Water block. Suddenly the whole world became more explorable.
  • Floating tile. I've been able to solve so many puzzles just by gliding through areas.

I'm actually glad I played in Hero mode for most of the game and tried to avoid using Link in combat. It made the combat much more difficult and engaging for me.
